Phil can still recall the day that his mother, a single parent working two jobs, signed the papers to buy her first house in Southwest Portland. At the age of three, he adamantly remembers demanding that the swing set in the backyard and box of Hot Wheels be included in the purchase price. From an early age Phil understood the value of negotiating!

After graduating from Wilson High School, Phil went on to attend Eastern Oregon University, where he earned a bachelors degree in Politics and Economics, with a minor in Business Administration.

Outside of Real Estate, Phil coaches baseball at Ida B. Wells High School (formally Wilson High School) and is also on the PIL Hall of Fame board. Some might think it is the handful State Championships and Regional appearances that have kept him involved, but those come second the the relationships he has been able to build within the SW Portland community.
